I’m sorry I’m stupid and got offended that someone, who knows how much I love Green Lantern and Hal Jordan specifically, would make rude jokes about him. Then not even have the decency to at least give a half-hearted apology when I made it known I was offended. 

I know I didn’t necessarily handle the situation that well, and I am legitimately sorry for that. But to say something like, “You can go right ahead and be offended, I’m just going to sit and be content with my joke.” To someone you call a friend. That just hurts. :/
