I like to think of it as the time Balder seemed to forget all the shit Loki has done and they spent their days fucking like rabbits.

I mean, I think everyone likes to think of it as that.

Am I the ONLY person who actually loved Balder in this arc? xD

I liked JMS’ Balder but after reading Walt Simonson’s Balder and seeing him be a better King of Asgard in his Thor run, I thought he could have been better.

And yeah it was weird of him being all “Loki I’ll give you a second chance” considering all the history they have and all the shit Loki did to him, Balder would be the last person to give him another opportunity.

But Balder did have balls in JMS’s run, because he did put him on his place when Loki got too snarky or witty especially when it came to Thor. Balder is very devoted to Thor (he’s his brother and one of the people he cares the most about), it hurt him a lot to exile Thor and every time Loki spoke ill of Thor Balder would tell Loki to STFU or threaten him.

That said, that’s a beautiful image. I like how Balder looks contemplative yet regretful and Loki’s expression is just wonderful.
